William “Bill” Rauch, age 77, of Naperville, formerly of Joliet, passed away following complications from a stroke, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. He was born on March 5, 1940 in Athen, Ohio. Bill grew up in rural Ohio and attended local schools. The oldest son in the family, Bill knew the value of hard work. In fact, he began working at the age of 15 while attending Columbus North High School. He graduated with the class 1958. Bill continued his education at Ohio State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources. Shortly after graduation, Bill was united in marriage to Rosemary Purdy. Mark “Pete” Peterson, age 72, of Elburn, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family, in the early morning hours of September 6, 2017. He was born on May 19, 1945, to proud parents, Orville and Marcella (Skoug) Peterson in Eau Claire, WI. Pete grew up in Eau Claire and attended local schools. He graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School with the class of 1963. Pete answered the call of his country in September of 1965 and proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam until his honorable discharge on September 13, 1971. Eva Mae Biddle, age 97, of Elburn, passed away quietly into the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Oak Crest Retirement Center in DeKalb, where she made her home in recent years. She was born February 3, 1920, in Orfordville, WI, the daughter Orrie and Marsha (Loveless) Lee. Eva grew up in Spooner, WI, and attended local schools. Later she lived with her aunt and uncle for a time in Evanston where she worked for Lords Department Store. Whether Eva had a thing for a man in uniform isn’t known, but John C.
