Rosemary Sheehan (nee: George), age 86, of St. Charles, formerly of Oak Park, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Presence Pine View Care Center in St. Charles, IL.
She was born in Beloit, WI, in 1930, the daughter of John B. and Rose (Sullivan) George. Rosemary graduated from Brother Dutton School in Beloit and St. Mary Spring’s Acadamy in Fond du Lac, WI. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.
Rosemary was a registered dietitian, who retired from a career at Hines VA Medical Center in Illinois. She lived in Oak Park, IL prior to her current home at Presence Pine View Care Center in St. Charles.
She leaves behind her only child; Joseph (Kathryn) Sheehan, three grandchildren; Natalie, Sara and Audrey, one sister; Sara (Robert) Crave and many nieces and nephews.
Rosemary now joins her parents and brothers; John “Ben,” William and Richard George.
A gathering will be from 9:30-10:15am, Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at St. Gall Catholic Church in Elburn, IL. The memorial mass will follow at 10:30am at the church with Reverend Christopher DiTomo officiating.
