Andrew Lipkin, age 53 of Elburn, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Gone too soon, Andrew lives on in the hearts of all who knew him. A legacy of memories are left to treasure so that his spirit can live on for generations. Arrangements include visitation Monday, September 11, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. with a remembrance service to follow at 4 p.m., at Conley Funeral Home, 116 W. Pierce St., Elburn, IL 60119. Words cannot express the profound sadness I have over the loss of Andy. He’s someone I’ve know for many, many years. I’ll miss our conversations, the meme wars, the shared sarcasm… he will be missed terribly. He made such an impact on so many people’s lives, that I can’t imaging not hearing “Yo G”. My heartfelt condolences (which doesn’t seem to be enough) to Meghan, Andy’s three children, his sister, parents and the rest of his family. You all are in my heart.

Andrew Jordan I’m so sorry you left us so early in life. I will always cherish the memories we had together. Seeing you for the first time in the maternity ward at Flushing hospital, taking you to the race track at 5 and allowing you to have a sip of my beer, bringing you to the park and buying you a coke and my favorite was singing the song I see the moon while driving on the belt pkwy.

My sincerest condolences to Meghan & the rest of Andrew’s family. I didn’t know him very long, but enjoyed hearing about his wife & the dogs. His line about how you have to watch out for gingers because they’ll steal your soul was one of the funniest things he ever said to me. RIP Andrew.
