MEMBERSHIPS She was a member of the Geneva Lutheran Church for many years where she helped with confirmation classes and vacation Bible School when her boys were growing up. LIFE NOTES Her sons were the joy of her life and looking after them was "job one" for Vicki. She was always there for them, in the stands at sporting events, in the audience at school plays and choir concerts. Her boys were the sunshine of her life but through recent years, in spite of her family’s great love, Vicki struggled with clouds of depression that shut out the sunshine of her life. Sometimes the darkness became so great, she would leave for a time, but always she would return. On Saturday, October 30, 2004, she encountered one of those days but did not return. As she had planned, the Fox River claimed her life and with it, the darkness that so clouded her vision. Her family, friends and loved one’s claim now the sunshine of her memory and will gather to celebrate her life. With faith in the everlasting love of her Savior and Redeemer, they claim for her, the peace and light of heaven and for themselves, the comfort, courage and wisdom that only He can give.
